Child Care Resource &
Referral, Inc. provides referrals to State Licensed or County Certified child
care programs. Depending on the age of your child/ren, the hours you need
care and the areas you are looking for care, we will provide profiles of
regulated child care providers including both group centers and family child
care homes.
The Provider
Profile includes information about their hours of operation, capacity,
environment, program, meals provided, and school transportation. The provider
profiles we send are referrals. We do not rate or recommend any child care
programs. The referrals are not based on vacancies the providers might have.
To search for regulated
child care, you have 2 options:

You can click on the star
for a free online search. The information you receive here is limited. It
is NOT based on the hours you need care, and some of the regulated providers
have chosen NOT to participate in online referrals.

You can call Child Care
Resource & Referral at 920-426-8920 or 800-316-8884 to speak with a referral
counselor.

The referral service is
free or low cost. If your annual family income is less than $24,000, the
service is free. If your annual family income is between $24,000 and
$41,999, the fee is $15.00 which is good for three months. If your annual
family income is over $42,000, the fee is $25.00 which is good for 3 months.

The search through a
referral counselor is based on the age of your child/ren, the hours you need
care and the areas where you are looking for care. This service includes
phone consultation on choosing quality child care along with written
information to help you evaluate the child care programs when you visit

Responsibility for
selecting a provider rests with each parent. We urge parents to call for an
appointment, carefully interview, evaluate, monitor and check references
before leaving a child in care.
